Service Description

Make your Saturday mornings the most exciting and anticipated day of the week! This 5 week technical glassblowing program is the hot-glass studies you have been looking for. Technical Program cost is $1500.00 + gst A class registration minimum of 4 students is required to run this program, reserve your class space today. Course Dates: June 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 Please ensure you can attend all class dates as there are no make up classes for any dates you are unable to attend. *Students are able to remain after tech class until 3:30 for additional benchtime & skills development * Students planning to stay post class are encouraged to bring a lunch and/or some nutritional snacks Over the course of the technical hot glass weeks you will learn: Effective use of tools & equipment Safety & bench procedures Gathering Punty's Centering techniques Marvering Starter bubbles, the basic bubble & blowing Jacking / cutting and correcting a jack-line Heating & cooling The 6 basic shapes Bits, wraps & feet Spins, swings & spirals Assising Molds Colour & diffusion Cold-working your projects Our 5 week program includes all course glass materials, tools and professional instruction by our team of friendly and skilled team of glassblowing artists. Students will take home all pieces they create throughout this 5 week program. Minimum age requirement to register is 14 years. Minors must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian also taking this class. Things to know and how to prepare 1. Have all long hair tied back 2. Wear non bulky cotton or natural fibre clothing (bring a change of clothes for each day) 3. Bring a sealed water bottle to stay hydrated 4. Wear closed toe work boots or a good rubber soled closed toe shoes 5. Wear blue jeans or cotton fibre pants Need a place to stay? Cancellation Policy

Class/Workshop Participant Cancellation Policy We know "life happens" and sometimes changes to your class registration need to happen and as a valued customer we are able to offer the following. Please note that accommodating short notice changes is costly for us as supplies preparation, instructor & staffing fees and the loss of revenue from vacant workshop space(s) forfeit us the opportunity to fill short notice cancellations. For cancellations 1 week or greater we first look to re-book your class or workshop at time of cancellation. If a re-booking is not possible, an in-store credit studio account will be set-up for you and your registration purchase will be applied for future use towards an alternate future class/workshop registration or it can be used for shopping with us. For cancellations 72 hours or less, due to the costs of set up, supplies prep, staffing/instructor fees, and the inability for us to re-sell your workshop space(s) on short notice your cancellation will unfortunately have to be considered a forfeited opportunity. Participants that No Show  No shows are considered forfeited opportunities and the above policy does not apply.
