Service Description

The pictured example of colours in this fun 70's inspired piece is just that - we want you to select your own design colours! When you register online, please let us know in the comments section or let one of our staff know ahead of time what colours you would like to design with. How to pick your colours: 1 base colour (this colour you will see around the edges and in between) in the example it is Brown. then select one secondary colour to design with (in the example we choose an Amazon Green) our team will look after the rest and be well be prepared for you when you arrive :) In this workshop you will learn track trace designing when constructing 3 layers of glass with intent to turn it into a one-of-a kind dish. In addition, in this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to score, break and tack build beautiful glass dishware to WOW your family and friends the next time you serve your favourite foods. This project measures 8x8 and will require 2 separate firings in the glass kiln after you have completed your design. Workshop includes all glass art materials, instruction, tools use and glass kiln firings to complete your project piece. No experience required. Please note pink glass is not available due to the cost of that colour in glass and exceeds +++ the workshop materials scope.

Cancellation Policy

Class/Workshop Participant Cancellation Policy We know "life happens" and sometimes changes to your class registration need to happen and as a valued customer we are able to offer the following. Please note that accommodating short notice changes is costly for us as supplies preparation, instructor & staffing fees and the loss of revenue from vacant workshop space(s) forfeit us the opportunity to fill short notice cancellations. For cancellations 1 week or greater we first look to re-book your class or workshop at time of cancellation. If a re-booking is not possible, an in-store credit studio account will be set-up for you and your registration purchase will be applied for future use towards an alternate future class/workshop registration or it can be used for shopping with us. For cancellations 72 hours or less, due to the costs of set up, supplies prep, staffing/instructor fees, and the inability for us to re-sell your workshop space(s) on short notice your cancellation will unfortunately have to be considered a forfeited opportunity. Please contact us either by email office@underthesun.glass or call the studio 780-739-1112 to advise us of any class or workshop registration changes you may have. Participants that No Show  No shows are considered forfeited opportunities and the above policy does not apply.
