Get ready to get blown away this summer, create the coolest things in hot glass & make some new friends this summer! This is an exclusive ADULT ONLY Glassblowing Afternoon Boot Camp must be 18 years+ runs Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Design, Learn & Create - during this hot glass boot camp your will learn: - about glass blowing tools, how to use them and safety in the hot shop - class curriculum includes: gathering, setting a bubble, colour application, moving & sculpting hot glass, break off process, annealing & the team approach in glassblowing all while making something super cool things! - learn some basics in coldworking all students will coldwork their designed blownglass pieces to bring home All tools use, equipment use and designing glass for all projects is included in this registration fee. Please pack and bring as needed a water bottle, lunch and/or snacks with you. The complete glassblowing boot camp fee is $650 + tax. Your 50% registration deposit is non refundable and secures your boot camp spot with the balance of $325 + tax due at the start of camp on the morning of July 21, 2026. We look forward to sharing and teaching the exhiliarting art of hot glass with you in this When attending Glassblowing Boot Camp Rules - the following is a MUST 1. Have all long hair tied back 2. Wear non bulky cotton or natural fibre clothing 3. Bring a sealed water bottle to stay hydrated 4. Wear closed toe work boots or a good rubber soled closed toe running shoes 5. Wear blue jeans or cotton fiber pant 6. Listen to the instructors at all times - to keep everyone creating in a safe and vibrant studio we strongly enforce a zero tolerance rule. Cancellation Policy
Class/Workshop Participant Cancellation Policy We know "life happens" and sometimes changes to your class registration need to happen and as a valued customer we are able to offer the following. Please note that accommodating short notice changes is costly for us as supplies preparation, instructor & staffing fees and the loss of revenue from vacant workshop space(s) forfeit us the opportunity to fill short notice cancellations. For cancellations 1 week or greater we first look to re-book your class or workshop at time of cancellation. If a re-booking is not possible, an in-store credit studio account will be set-up for you and your registration purchase will be applied for future use towards an alternate future class/workshop registration or it can be used for shopping with us. For cancellations 72 hours or less, due to the costs of set up, supplies prep, staffing/instructor fees, and the inability for us to re-sell your workshop space(s) on short notice your cancellation will unfortunately have to be considered a forfeited opportunity. Please contact us either by email office@underthesun.glass or call the studio 780-739-1112 to advise us of any class or workshop registration changes you may have. Participants that No Show No shows are considered forfeited opportunities and the above policy does not apply.
