Have you always wanted to learn how to make stained glass but struggle to find the time for a multi-session class? If so, our one-day stained glass workshop is perfect for you! In this 5-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn the essential techniques of stained glass, including cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. Our experienced instructors will guide you step by step, ensuring you gain the skills and confidence to explore stained glass as a hobby or take on future projects. You'll complete a small stained glass project, ideal for beginners. It’s designed to be a manageable yet rewarding experience, allowing you to go through the entire stained glass process in just one session and leave with a beautiful piece to take home. Whether you're a local looking to try something new, a traveler wanting a hands-on creative experience, or someone eager to start a new craft, this class is a fantastic way to dive into the art of stained glass! No experience necessary! What's included: All materials are included in the class cost. Use of studio space, and the required tools and equipment use for the day. Expert instructor(s) in a bright, cheery and vibrant professional glass art studio. Itinerary - In this class, you will learn how to: -Select a pattern from our provided class options - Select your glass from our class specific options - Learn how to score and break glass -Sand and grind edges -Apply foil to glass pieces -Solder your project together -Clean and polish your finished piece Agenda at a glance: Sculpting lesson & pattern development 10:00 am - 12:30 pm 12:30 – 12:45 lunch break (potentially you may have a longer lunch if your glass sculpting is complete) 12:45 – 1:45 – copper lesson & completion 1:45 – 3:00 pm solder, patina & polishing lesson Check-in details: Please arrive a few minutes early for class to ensure a smooth start! We will begin class right on time, so arriving ahead allows you to settle in, have plenty of time to select your project without feeling rushed, and make the most of our valuable class time together. What to bring • Please wear close toed shoes, pack a lunch as we only have a quick 15 min break and bring a water bottle Special requirements Any participant's age 14 and younger will need a parent or guardian also taking the class

Cancellation Policy
Class/Workshop Participant Cancellation Policy We know "life happens" and sometimes changes to your class registration need to happen and as a valued customer we are able to offer the following. Please note that accommodating short notice changes is costly for us as supplies preparation, instructor & staffing fees and the loss of revenue from vacant workshop space(s) forfeit us the opportunity to fill short notice cancellations. For cancellations 1 week or greater we first look to re-book your class or workshop at time of cancellation. If a re-booking is not possible, an in-store credit studio account will be set-up for you and your registration purchase will be applied for future use towards an alternate future class/workshop registration or it can be used for shopping with us. For cancellations 72 hours or less, due to the costs of set up, supplies prep, staffing/instructor fees, and the inability for us to re-sell your workshop space(s) on short notice your cancellation will unfortunately have to be considered a forfeited opportunity. Please contact us either by email office@underthesun.glass or call the studio 780-739-1112 to advise us of any class or workshop registration changes you may have. Participants that No Show No shows are considered forfeited opportunities and the above policy does not apply.
